Day 26 - Around and About Moab

Stormy Mtn

Snowy Mtn
While George was working, I cruised through town and visited a quilt shop, a knitting shop and a really neat gallery.  This is a neat little town.

After George finished work, we took a self-guided auto tour of the Colorado Riverway passing Indian petroglyphs, Jug Handle Arch and more big red rocks perfect for rock climbing and several climbers were out there today.

We also took the La Sal Mountain Loop which was a 60 mile drive which began at the Colorado River, then twisted over La Sal Mountain and through the Manti-La Sal National Forest.  The views were totally different from one side of the mountain to the other.  We saw lots of deer, steer and cows.
