Day 21 - Out in the boonies...

My Cowboy!

I hated to leave Wahweap as it is one of the nicest campgrounds we've been to.  Very large sites, great views of the rocks and Lake Powell, good laundry facility, a nice little general store and a fire pit to boot!  Anyway, time to say goodbye and head on down the road...except our steps decided to act up again.  UGH!  George checked connections, fuses, etc but no luck.  The staff in the campground office gave me the name of an RV repair service and they were able to see us so I drove the car and George drove the coach with the steps out...I can't tell you how funny that looked in the rear view mirror!  It was an easy, and affordable, fix so THANKS Mike and Melanie at Sunwest Marine & RV, for making our day a little easier.

We arrived at Bauer's Canyon Ranch in Glendale, UT (aka...the middle of nowhere) this afteroon.  This is a working ranch with a clean mountain spring, stocked with rainbow trout, flowing through some 1,000 acres.  They even have their own apple orchard!  Anyway, it feels like we are in a remote area, however, the wifi is running great but sketchy AT&T service. This camp is small - only 22 grassy sites, close together but nice and cozy.  That's pretty much it for today but on to Zion National Park tomorrow.
