Day 32: Napa & Calistoga

Downtown Calistoga
Calistoga Pottery

While George was working, I took a drive around town to check things out.  Calistoga is a darling little town, very quaint, reminds me of a little mountain town back home in the mountains, like Ellijay, GA.

Came upon Calistoga Pottery owned by Jeff and Sally Manfredi, originally from upstate NY but now settled into this adorable town.  I like their work and bought a beautiful bowl and spaghetti fork (which could double as a back-scratcher).

The town has lots of gift shops, restaurants, bed and breakfast hotels, spas and wine tasting studios.  In fact, Dick Vermeil has a wine tasting studio here.
