Another 6 hours on the road today...made it to Myrtle Beach by 4:30 and checked into Pirateland Camping Resort right on the Atlantic Ocean and our space is just a stones throw to the water. Know what I'll be doing this week...chillin' on the beach! The weather here is significantly cooler than The Keys....a perfect 70-72 degrees all week. Once we got set up, we walked over to the beach then sat outside and watched the end of the golf tournament. George got our new sign out and proudly placed it on our space....ain't it cute?
George got the grill out and we had hamburgers and corn on the cob for dinner. Just as we finished eating, the rain came and it is just pouring. We have the A/C off and the windows open...I think we will sleep good tonight.
As we were setting up, I noticed more pancake batter all over the dining room chairs and cabinets behind the table....honestly, will it ever end???
