Day 1 - Let's get some miles behind us

After saying our good-byes throughout the neighborhood, we drove 402 miles and in fact just made it into AL. Abigail hid under the bed for the first couple of hours while Misty spent her time sleeping and peering out the cat window.  Very uneventful day but we made good progress.
